Parking on campus is a privilege, not a right. Students and parents/guardians must review and sign the parking agreement before a permit can be issued. The agreement is linked below.
Key Requirements
$50 parking permit required for each vehicle. The decal must be displayed every day.
Students must park only in their assigned, numbered space. Teacher parking is prohibited before 4:00 PM.
Speed limit is 10 MPH; pedestrians always have the right of way. Seat belts are required.
Students must provide a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and signed parking agreement before approval.
Students may not loiter in or around their vehicles during the school day. Smoking and vaping are prohibited on campus.
Vehicles must remain locked and may not be visited or moved during the school day without administrative authorization.
Four unexcused check-ins in a semester will result in loss of parking privileges.
Illegal parking, driving unsafely, violating traffic rules, or violating school rules may result in loss of driving/parking privileges. A first parking violation results in an automatic one-semester suspension of campus driving privileges.
Parking decals cannot be transferred to another vehicle or another student.
A temporary permit is required when driving a vehicle other than the registered vehicle.
Loud music/noise is prohibited.
Students are responsible for the conduct of their passengers and the contents of their vehicle.
Vehicles parked without a valid decal may be towed.
Parking permits are non-refundable.
Terry Sanford High School and Cumberland County Schools are not responsible for loss, theft, fire, or damage involving vehicles on school property.
School officials may patrol parking areas and inspect/search vehicles as permitted by school policy and law.
2026-2027 Parking Registration & Purchase
Seniors receive priority!
Wednesday, August 19 | 12:00–4:00 PM
Seniors may turn in their completed parking registration forms and purchase their parking space.
All Other Students
May submit their registration forms and purchase a parking space:
During Open House on Wednesday, August 19 from 5 pm - 7 pm
Friday, August 21, 8 am - 4 pm
Or when school begins
Important: Once a student's parking registration information has been reviewed and confirmed, the student will receive a code and link to select and purchase their parking space.
No valid decal = No campus parking.
Parking spaces are assigned and may only be used by the student to whom they are assigned.
