The Terry Sanford High School community is partnering with Operation Toy Drop this year to collect as many new toys for children in North Carolina, the United States and around the world who would otherwise receive nothing. This is the 20th year of the collection drive sponsored by the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command at Fort Bragg.

We will be collecting toys at this Friday's football game versus Jacksonville, as well as at all other home events such as the chorus, band and orchestra concerts and winter sports home games between now and Dec 15, 2017  Please support our efforts by donating a toy during your next visit to Terry Sanford. Donations may also be dropped off to the main office during the school day.  Dates for participation are below: Home Athletic Events (Donate at the Gate) Football- Nov 17; Basketball- Dec 8 and 15; Wrestling- Nov 21 and Dec 13 .   • The Winter Sports Parent Make-Up Meeting will be on Monday,  November 27th at 6:00 pm in the Auditorium.  This is a mandatory meeting for eligibility.

  • Congratulations and good luck to senior Nadine W. who will be in this year’s Macy’s Day Parade. She will be dancing the opening number in a Black and White costume with a red bow. She is one of only 12 N.C. dancers out of 500 girls who made the show (3000 auditioned).
  • Congratulations to members of the wrestling team this past weekend at Pine Forest High School.  Pierre Y. placed 3rd at the 106 pound weight class, Ferris A. placed 2nd at the 170 pound weight class, and Finley A. won 1st place at the 182 pound weight class.
  • If you are interested in the SAT Prep Class that we are having each Tuesday through November 28th the cost is $25.00. Stop by the AP office to pay your money.

Cumberland County Schools sign that reads, Collaborate-Compete-SucceedCCS’ Next Superintendent: Tell Us What You Think!
The Cumberland County Board of Education has hired the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) to help facilitate its search for the next superintendent of the Cumberland County Schools (CCS). The Board wants direct input from members of the community to help shape the search process and to assist in defining the qualities and characteristics desired in the next CCS’ superintendent.

Cumberland County Schools has partnered with Arbiter Sports to digitize all of our Bulldog Logoeligibility paperwork.

  • You can complete all requirements online on a computer, tablet, or phone.
  • Parents and students are requested to complete athletic participation paperwork online for the 2017-18 school year.
  • Please use this site to follow your favorite teams and to register your child for all the sports they want to play this year.
  • Please click on this link to open the Arbiter Live Sports Website.
  • Please select the “Pre-participation” tab on the left of the Arbiter Live page under the team logo, where you will find video tutorials on their site to assist you in registering your child.
