General Information:

  • Any student who would like to sign up for a teleconference class of AP Statistics, AP European History, French 2, Creative Writing, or Chinese 2, offered spring semester during the day – please see your counselor immediately.

Athletics:

  • The Men’s bowling team placed 2nd in their match Wednesday, but have moved back into first place overall!  The Women’s bowling team placed 3rd in their match last night but remain in first place overall! Congratulations to the bowling teams!
  • The men’s and women’s bowling teams will practice at Lafayette Lanes on Raeford Rd. on Tuesday, December 11th before their match their on Wednesday.
  • Congratulations to our women and men varsity teams for their wins over Lumberton. Imani E. lead the team with a Triple Double and Jay H. lead the men in scoring. Both teams are at 3-0 and travel to Gray’s Creek tonight.
  • The FTS Swim Team will have a meet today at Fay State today!.  The meet will start at 4:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased on our school athletic website.
  • JV basketball will be home with the girls tipping off at 5:00 p.m. and boys at 6:30 p.m.

Club and Group Announcements:

  • Please drop off toys for The Kids Foundation in room 52! Put a Post-It note on the toy with your homeroom teacher and the homeroom with the most donations will win free holiday doughnuts!
  • Please bring in a non-perishable food item to help families in our school and our district. There is a box in the front lobby and the cafeteria for items.
  • It’s not too late to join DECA!  Anyone interested in joining DECA,  stop by Room 9 and pick up an application.  There will be a meeting Monday, Dec. 10th in room 9.
  • If you are interested in learning about the science behind positive psychology come to our P2 meetings, Tuesdays at 3:45 in room 201.
  • If you are faculty, staff, or student and love gospel music, come to a gospel choir interest meeting Tuesday at 4 pm in the choir see Mr. Brown for any questions!
