General Information:

  • The Mission of the Positivity Project is to empower YOU to build positive relationships – by understanding, appreciating, and exemplifying the character strengths in us all.  #OtherPeopleMatter
  • The Power of Hello – Howard White believes that every person deserves to feel someone acknowledge their presence, no matter how humble they may be or even how important. He says that he speaks to everyone he sees, no matter where he is. He’s learned that speaking to people creates a pathway into their world, and it lets them come into his, too.  The day you speak to someone who has their head down but lifts it up and smiles, you realize how powerful it is just to open your mouth and say, “Hello.” So let’s follow Mr. White’s advice, speak to everyone, HERE at FTS!
  • All after school activities Wednesday, September 12 are cancelled
  • Please remember that if students are registered for a High School Connections course, students will follow the CCS inclement weather policy.  For example, if CCS is closed, delayed, or has an early release those course sections will not meet.
  • If students are registered for a concurrent course, or regular FTCC course section, they will follow the FTCC inclement weather policy for those courses.  For example, if CCS is closed but FTCC is on regular schedule, those students will be expected to resume their regular FTCC schedule.
  • Make sure you check Blackboard for any potential assignments and to email their instructors if they have concerns and are able to do so.
  • The NEXT time Senior dues will be accepted will be the Thursday and Friday of Homecoming Week, Oct 4 & 5. At that time seniors will only get 1 extra graduation ticket, so seniors please remember to make it happen! Junior dues can be paid to Mrs. McMillan in Room 5.
  • Attention Juniors and Seniors! ACT and SAT waiver forms are in! See Mrs. Wills in the Counseling office for more information!
  • If you have not received an ID card, you may go the media center on Thursday and Friday.  ID cards will NOT be made Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
