Image of logo for ACTOn February 28, 2017, all juniors will participate in the ACT.  The ACT is a college admissions test accepted by the majority of 4-year colleges and universities in the United States. TSHS will register all juniors to take the ACT.  Students should set up their account with ACT at ACT Registration so that they can receive their scores.

Below are helpful resources students are encouraged to access to assist them with their ACT prep.

Daily Announcements & Upcoming Events

  • CTE & Counseling Dept will host Career Week February 21-24. Posters and flyers have been posted throughout the building. Students can sign up with ANY of their teachers or in the counseling office. Events include: Resume Workshops, Career & Education Fair, Money Management, and Employment Skills!
  • Drivers Ed rosters for Spring Session I are posted in guidance, the office, media center, SGA board, and beside room 220.
  • There will be a make-up Spring Parent/Athlete meeting on Tuesday, February 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. This is a mandatory meeting for athletes and their parents if you did not attend the first.
  • Congratulations to Hannah T. for winning a Silver Key Award in the Scholastic Art Awards Art Show sponsored and hosted by Barton College.
  • Attention!  Students, Faculty, and Staff, the FTS Varsity Choir needs your help!  We have entered a contest to sing on stage with Foreigner.  You can help by going to FTSFineArts on Instagram and liking our video.  A big thank you to Mr. Langdon and Mrs. Herring for their assistance with making the video.  Go to Instagram now and like our video to help us win the contest.  Thank you.
  • On February 28, 2017, all juniors will take the ACT.  If you are a junior and have taken the ACT prior to January 1, 2017, and would like to submit a request for exemption please see Mrs. Walker before Thursday, February 9, 2017, to pick up the paperwork for exemption.  You will be required to show proof of test scores that meet the college readiness benchmark standards.
