General Information:

  • With only 22 days of school left we need ALL students at school, on time to their classes, prepared, respectful, and responsible for their choices. We want ALL FTS students to finish the school year Here at FTS on a positive note.
  • SENIORS! Graduation ticket request forms are available in the Counseling Office and on the Google classroom page. ALL seniors are required to turn in a graduation ticket request form. Forms can be turned into the Counseling Office, senior homeroom teachers, or the Main Office. Forms are DUE by MAY 10! You will not be given graduation tickets until you have turned in this form signed by you and a parent or guardian!
  • Seniors who have a parent or grandparent that graduated from Terry Sanford High School please stop by the front office and fill out a Legacy form to receive your Legacy pin at Senior Awards on May 15th.
  • Tomorrow we will celebrate the many cultures here at FTS by having our Multicultural Program in the gymnasium.  We will start calling students and teachers down at 8:45 am. We would like to start promptly at 9:00 am. We are TS!

ICON Internship

Summer Internship program for students. The internship program runs June 3–July 12, 2019, and is open to Cumberland County residents ages 16-24. Students will work 32 hours per week for six weeks at a rate of $8.00 per hour.

There are mandatory events participants must attend to include a preparatory workshop to build soft skills and prepare for interviews with the business partners providing the internships. Internships are not guaranteed. Students must compete!

CCS PARTNERS WITH ARBITER SPORTS TO DETERMINE PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

Cumberland County Schools has partnered with Arbiter Sports to digitize all of our Bulldog Logoeligibility paperwork.

  • You can complete all requirements online on a computer, tablet, or phone.
  • Parents and students are requested to complete athletic participation paperwork online for the 2018-19 school year.
  • Please use this site to follow your favorite teams and to register your child for all the sports they want to play this year.
  • Please click on this link to open the Arbiter Live Sports Website.
  • Please select the “Pre-participation” tab on the left of the Arbiter Live page under the team logo, where you will find video tutorials on their site to assist you in registering your child.
  • Please contact Liz McGowan, Athletic Director at (910)484-1151, if you have any questions about this new process.
